Cupids Arrow Cards

Get creative this Valentine’s Day by making your own cute cupid cards.

List of things you will need:
Brown envelopes
Coloured card of your choice
Straws
Metallic pens
Scissors
Glue

Firstly decided on a colour theme that works, something a little clashy and within the theme of valentines (aka: pink or red heart) works really well.

Step 1 – start by creating the heart shape. You can use a stencil, download a template of a heart from the internet and draw around that. I printed a heart shape (just by using google images) and placing it onto a thick piece of card. This makes it so much easier to draw around and get a really symmetrical shape like a stencil. You need 2 heart pieces for every 1 cupid card you make. My cards are in bits of A5, after folding them a few times you are able to get x4 the amount of shapes from one bit of card.

Step 2 - Cut the straws into pieces about 8-10cms long.

Step 3 - Make the tail by using an arrow like template. (to make this easier you could just use a triangle shaped tail) I did the same with step 1 as I have done for step 3, make sure you cut out 2 pieces for the arrow's.

Step 4- Then with your metallic pens draw faces on the heart or write a cute message! Be as creative and wild as you like.

Step 5 – glue all pieces together, then voila! A cute cupid card.

Make sure you pop them in the post in time for your valentine on the 14th feb! Enjoy guys I hope you get lots in return & send me pictures of your creations!

The Trading House

The trading house is in an amazing location in Bank. Surrounded by bars such as anthology & Harry's bar you know you are bound to have a good night in this amazing area of London.

As we walked to our table I couldn't help but notice the amazing flooring!  This is definitely something I would like to replicate in my house. I absolutely loved it. The way that the tiles didn't even match each other gave it more of a shabby chic feel. Couldn't help but fall in love with it.

After drooling over the tiled floor I was presented with a table mat that doubled up as a colouring page. At the moment colouring books are all the rage as they are proven to reduce stress. The drawing (I think) replicates what the trading room must have looked like when it was first used.

To start I chose melted camonbert with bread and apple slices. First time to try this combination and I will definitely be making this at home as it was delicious.

For my main course I chose the chicken kebab. Again - amazing!

If you know me personally you know that marshmellows are probably one of my biggest weaknesses! To have this in a desert with ice cream, cream, and melted chocolate topped off the night.

Starters, main & desert were all absolutely amazing and I would definitely be coming back.

I hope this has given you a little more inspiration on where to eat next!

Much love,
Chloe Noir,

The Chesterfield Hotel - Mayfair

The Chesterfield hotel is a 4 star hotel situated in the heart of Mayfair. I was luckily enough able to stay in this hotel as a work perk! The lobby area is stunning with (what looks like) all original oak wood features, I particularly like hotels that have restored or have tried to restore as much as they can of the original building and decorative features as much as possible.

I was greeted when I walked through the doors of the hotel room with a hand written note from the hotel manager, which I thought was a lovely personal touch. The room I was given was a superior King room, it was just the right size, had an amazingly huge bed, heated floors in the bathroom & all the amenities I could require!

The bed even had my initials on the sheets! 😏

We were just starting to unwind and unpack our things when one of the hotel staff knocked on our door and greeted us with oranges from their very own garden. The touches this hotel has are amazing, are the staff go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. Each floor has a different decorative theme on the floor and the hotel isn't huge which is nice. We decided to take a stroll to the bar (which is one of my favourite parts of the hotel) in which you can have afternoon tea, a gin tasting experience (which is also amazing!) and various cocktails and platters. I chose the honeypot cocktail which had all of my favourite things in it such as limoncello and vodka. Topped with honey of course! Fell in love with how much effort they made to present this cocktail with an edible bee attached!

In terms of location this hotel is really great for that. And is definitely what does it for me! When staying at this hotel you are directly next to Berkley Square. Which has amazing resturants surrounding it. Such as sexy fish, number 34, novikov and nobu just around the corner. Hyde Park is on the other side of the hotel which is great if you are visiting an attraction in the park or just needing to be in the westend in general. The hotel is inbetween 2 great tube stations. Bond Street & Green Park, that give you great links everywhere.

Breakfast in this hotel is amazing and service is great, in fact I have eaten here a few times for lunch and dinner too. Their menu changes throughout the seasons, my personal favourite is the steak.

As far as staying in a hotel goes this is by far one of my favourite in the west end. & I would definitely recommend this hotel.

All my love,
Chloe Noir

My favourite winter coats in the SALE!

Fortunately for me and my bank account, the sales are still alive! After such a mild winter I have a feeling the storms and cold weather is soon to be right on our doorstep.  I have put below my three favourite coats in the sale at the moment with different price ranges to suit your budget!

£190, RRP £286
I have always wanted a duffle coat but do struggle to find one that suits my figure. This one looks super warm and although a little more pricey these coats have been in fashion for a while know so it will definitely last you a few seasons. With the weather being so undecided a hood on the coat at the moment is a most definitely a must! (no more feeling sorry for yourself when you have forgotten your brolli!)

£90, RRP £225
If you are constantly in black and are bored of it this is the perfect coat for you! This coat can be used for a night out and dressed up or completely casual! With these styles coats I find it is much harder to style with more casual clothing so for me this coat really fits the bill.

£55.20, RRP £69
I love this coats price tag very much!  This coat could double up and be used as a cardigan both indoors and outdoors! The colours in the make it versatile to team with bright and neutral colours.

£175 RRP £350
and last but by no means least – this whistles number! What I have learnt over the years is how different brands are good for different things… for example… whistles is great for a sale. Especially their summer one. Is jacket is very versatile in the winter months and is a great jacket to have on a night out. With this 50% off you cant ask for more in a jacket!

£124.50 RRP£249
the white company is one of my favourite shops ! mainly for homeware but there clothing is amazing too. I couldn’t help but notice this bargain. There clothing is always super stylish and of really good quality. And black goes with everything!

Lots of love and happy shopping!

Update & Millie Macintosh!

Hi all,

This is my first chance I have got to blog in a long time as I have been galavanting across the globe with my boyfriend. It was my birthday at the end of August and I was very lucky to be treated to a surprise holiday to New York & The Bahamas! 2 places I have always dreamed of going.

We took a boat around manhattan island to see all the buildings and the lady herself! We saw lots of other sites including Empire State Building, we cycled around Central Park and saw ground zero and it's new meusum. Ground zero really was a touching place to visit.

I managed to get my boyfriend to do lots of shopping and was lucky enough to go to both Macy's and bloomeys at my stay there.

I was fascinated by all the brands that are not available in the UK that I know I will love if we had them back home... Such as Elizabeth & James, Mary-Kate & Ashleys clothing line.

After our hectic few days in NYC we retreated to a lovely Caribbean island for a week!

Whilst I'm writing this blog I might aswell update you with my OOTD. I'm wearing a black high neck long sleeved crop top, with dog tooth print skirt, fur gills and Mary Janes, I really look forward to winter fashion and have bought lots of new pieces for the winter already!

Millie Mackintosh has just started a collection, I love her classic Chelsea girl style. This is my favourite piece from the collection. This styled with a fedora, fur gillet and boots would make this dress very ontrend. I really am Inlove with the gypsy looking sleeves this season, blog to come of where to get them when I have done my research!
I managed to snap a photo of her at Vogues fashion night out too!!!

Hope you enjoyed my blog. Leave some love!

Lots of love,
Chloe Noir xo

5 Summer Must Haves!

1. ORANGE & LIME GREEN (....NOT TOGETHER)

2. DISTRESSED DENIM

3. POWERFUL BLAZORS

4. NATURAL BEACH BABY HAIR

5. CUTE SHOES

Summer is EVERYONES favourite time of the year.... and if its not your favourite time of the year, well, then you are mentally retarded. The sunshine makes everyone happy... and thats a fact! It releases some chemicals and vitamins and all that shiz... so its way healthy.

Sorry I havent posted in a while, I have been busy with work and putting together a few projects, I also met someone that I really like spending time with (cringe, i know) :) I have put a post together that just details some of the main things that I will be looking to purchase this summer, and some bits I already have.

1. Orange and Lime Green.

I believe these will be the colours of the season. This seasons trends are all a bit whacky.... Very 80's. Infact heres a photo of me and my best friend Lauren going to an 80's night a couple of weeks ago, not really that different from how we dress now.

These particular colours are great to jazz up any boring outfit with something minimal like a necklace or chunky wedged shoes.

Topshop - Team with a pair of tailored trousers

Topshop - adding a pop of colour to any outfit

ASOS - £25

ASOS - Very 80's, pair with modern tailoring or  a midi skirt

2. Distressed Denim

I have seen a lot of this lately. And have recently decided to rip up a pair of my old jeans. All you need to do is put a few small cuts in them with a pair of scissors, to roughen them up use a cheese grater and strech them with your hands. This gives them the most natural look. If you dont wish you DIY  heres a few i found below.

ASOS - low rise skinnys, subtle ripping

ASOS - boyfriend style distressed denim

LEVIS - £110

3. Powerful Blazors

Modern tailoring has been HUGE this past year. Lately I have been seeing floral blazors and matching block coloured two piece suits (this in orange looks great) Modern tailoring is so versitile, tailored trousers can be worn in the day with a simple black or white T and can been worn out with a pair of strappy sandles. It is also very suitable for the work place, so make your colleagues jealous! Modern tailoring works best in bold statement colours, white is very on trend right now and makes any outfit look more sleek and stylish, here are my favourite picks from Miss Guided.

Miss Guided - £7.99

Co-Ordinates are my favourite. I love this floral piece

Miss Guided - Pastels

Miss Guided - £17.99

4. Natural Beach Baby Hair

Summer is all about tanned skinned and beachy waved hair. Natural tones and colours are so on trend right now. See below for some cool hairstyle ideas.

Ombre works for all hair tones but works best with a natural wave
Lauren Conrad - My style inspiration. Every time i see a picture of her I get incredibly jealous.

Conrad works her ombre every time with natural waves and a simple plait

5. Cute Shoes

Here are my favourite picks from ASOS this spring / summer
Topshop - £45

Topshop - Great with a summer dress and denim jacket

Topshop - Wedges are for any occasion

ASOS - £22

Enjoy the sunshine.
Love and Peace
